It has been a long time coming but, here at last is Skellig's first Canadian Album. Some of the songs were written back in the UK, others since the move to lovely Ladysmith, BC. Grain of Sand is the song where it all started for us, Lisa brought this poem for me to make a tune out of way back in 1983. It has gone through various resurrected forms, with different line-ups over the years, to reach its present state. She only had to ask me out! It has been a privilege to work on the creative process with this most fantastic of line-ups. It is always hard work to write and record original music, but at the same time such rewarding enjoyment.
Thanks guys and special thanks to Will for all the time spent recording and engineering in our basements, not to mention his parents' walk-in closet. I was so glad to get out of that closet! Thanks also to all our family and friends for giving us the support and encouragement to keep on doing this, especially when things get tough.
We thank God for giving us the time and inspiration to write these songs for you and hope that they touch your heart and give you much enjoyment.
